Millefiori means 'a thousand flowers' in Italian. This style of glasswork is most often associated with Venice. As always happens with glass, some larger beads were broken. Some enterprising person found a way to take these broken beads, polish them smooth and drill holes into them and, luckily for us, create smaller beads to make beautiful jewelry.
Wooly's mother handcrafted these beautiful earrings using these beads and sterling silver French wires. There are four colorways of beads used: 1) Red & White, 2) Blues, 3) Black & Yellow and 4) Yellow/Orange/Green or Citrus. There are a limited number of each.
