I adore lampwork beads and have made them before. What are lampwork beads?
Lampwork beads are handmade beads that are crafted out of molten glass using a centuries old technique known as lampworking. The term “lampwork” is derived from the fact that oil lamps were once used as the heat source to heat the glass used in this process.
We have two pairs available; both have red & white beads that are highlighted with black swirls. One pair has a smaller lampwork bead below the mainbead, silver beads and silver-plated V hoops. The second pair has sterling silver French hooks with silver-plated wirework & beads.
