This yarn was a lot of fun to dye! The colors that I used blended in totally unexpected ways; I did not use any blue or green dyes but those colors are present. Several friends & family members commented that it looked like a calico cat; hence, the name.
It is a worsted weight yarn made of 100% Organic Merino wool. Each skein is 3.5 oz. and 219 yards. So yummy! These colors would go so well with your favorite pair of jeans!
We recommend hand washing and air drying anything you make with this yarn. I can tell you that this is one of the softest yarns I have ever worked with; it works up beautifully, lays flat and has wonderful drape.
