This is a beautiful piece, light and airy, muted black/charcoal with pewter squares randomly fused on it. It is 58" wide with a large selvage, perfect for so many projects. It has been very difficult to photograph as the pewter squares keep reflecting silver or gold. But they are pewter, a low key dramatic look.
I think of various costuming projects first because so few people dress up dramatically any more. This piece has a lot of movement & would flow behind you if you made an over jacket/coat/cocoon with it.
The reverse side of the squares are silver so making items where both sides might be seen is great.
The whole piece is 3 yard long. I don't want to cut it as it would make such fabulous clothing & I don't want someone short changed.
Gentle wash, hang dry.
