This fabric would be wonderful for bodices in medieval costuming or even for a dressy vest or bodice.
The background is Terra Cotta with some angled designs highlighted with gold. As you can see on the back this is totally woven, not a printed design. Hard to find this quality today.
56" wide fabric, sold by the yard; it is sturdy enough to be used in so many things besides clothing...pillows with golden tassels spring to mind. This is a heavy piece of fabric.
I washed a piece of this on the delicate cycle of my washer & dried it in the dryer on the delicate setting & it came out great.
