Ren Faires and Medieval Re-enactments are just plain FUN. Sew your own gowns with these patterns. Most of these are long out of print & very hard to find. Each is individually priced. I will describe them as best I can but don't hesitate to ask questions.

Simplicity 8881 in sizes 14, 16, 18, 20 From the Elizabethan Costume Collection designed by Martha MCain. 23 pattern pieces make the gown shown (which is two pieces) and the Farthingale and Bum roll. They even specify the order to make the parts in for best fit. $27
This particular pattern has no envelope, no idea what I did with it but the instructions & all the back of the envelope info has been copied & is included. The pattern pieces are still factory folded.
This is an older pattern from 1999 and, in my opinion, you need some sewing experience to put it together; not that there are so many pieces but you'll be working with a lot of fabric.

M4696: Misses Renaissance Tops- Sizes 16-22, OOP
A marvelously realistic top pattern for Renaissance, Medieval, Cosplay and general costuming.
No buttons nor zippers here, you lace on the bodice, sleeves & cuffs. This is why they had ladies maids to dress them...you need a friend to get ready in the morning.
I love these patterns with just one part of the costume, you can concentrate on making it fit you perfectly & use it over & over with different fabrics.
This is from 2004, there are 10 pattern pieces, uncut & factory folded in an envelope, that while original, is showing its age.

This McCall's pattern (M5499) has two dresses, an overdress, belt, veil and hat. 15 pieces make Misses sizes S-XL (US 8 to 22). This comes in Adult & Children's size, but this particular pattern is for the Adult only.
A great way to show off material & trims; adaptable for many costuming events. This pattern has had good sewing reviews. It is from 2007, uncut. The envelope is showing its age with some fading.
